In 2009 an article was published by Pathophysiology [1] regarding "Apparent decreases in Swedish public health." Various indicators showed that things got worse after 1997. One indicator was related to the % of children born with heart problems and malformations.
Today we have got detailed information [2] about this problem and current trends. The ratio of born with heart malfunctions but with no cromosome damage has increased from around 1.1 to 1.7% of born babies since 1999. At the same time period the level of abortions due to heart problems and no cromosome damage increased from 0.03 to about 0.09%. Figure 1 shows the sum of aborted and born babies with heart failures increasing from the earlier stable level 0.9 % [3] over time. Just looking at the increase per year fits very well with mobile phone usage.
Heart problems in combination with cromosome
damage do not show a similar increasing trend. Thus, the increasing rates
of heart problems among new born babies must be caused by another factor. It
is known that mobile phone use by the mother affects the heart
pulse rate of ftus and new born babies [4]. It is not unlikely that
the heart is more sensitive to this radiation during certain development periods.
If our authorities could act independently from the mobile phone industry, they should immediately warn pregnant women and parents of new born babies from using the mobile phone close to the baby. The popular tool 'Baby Watcher' should actually be renamed 'Baby Killer' and mobile phones should have a label similar to the cigarette warnings. "Mobile phone kills".
